The Cycling In Lowestoft website was created to bring local cycling information together in one easy-to-use place.
The idea came from a simple problem: news, events, rides and community updates were often spread across different Facebook posts, emails and conversations. This made it harder for people to find out what was happening locally.
The purpose of the website is to provide a central hub for cyclists in and around Lowestoft. Visitors will be able to find local news, upcoming events, Dr Bike sessions, meeting updates, photo galleries and future route information from one place.
The site has been built from the ground up by a local cyclist, with the aim of supporting the Cycling In Lowestoft community and making useful information easier to access.
More content will be added as the website grows, including ride reports, campaign updates, archived news, downloadable routes and photographs from local cycling events.
The long-term aim is for the website to become a useful community resource that helps more people discover cycling, support local projects and get involved.
