Dr Bike is a free community service helping people keep their bicycles safe, roadworthy and enjoyable to ride.
Bikes receive a basic safety inspection together with adjustments and minor repairs where possible.
Dr Bike sessions in Lowestoft are delivered by Cycling In Lowestoft as part of Cycling UK's Big Bike Revival, a national programme helping adults across England gain the confidence, skills and support to enjoy cycling.
The programme brings free cycling activities into local communities, including Dr Bike sessions, learn-to-ride, learn-to-fix workshops and community rides.
Our friendly volunteers carry out a basic safety inspection and make simple adjustments where possible to help keep your bike safe and ready to ride.

Dr Bike sessions are free and open to adults of all abilities. Whether you're returning to cycling, haven't ridden for years or simply want reassurance that your bike is safe, everyone is welcome.
If your bike requires specialist repairs, we'll explain what needs attention and may recommend one of our trusted local independent bike shops.
